Changing face of Diwali

Diwali is a festival that is traditionally associated with lights, ‘diyas’ new cloths and lot of sweets to eat. Sweets which once prepared at home is now ordered from shops. Exchanging sweets and crackers is no longer the way of celebrating Diwali, helping the needy in the of donating moey, giving old clothes(some may get new ones for them).

A day a passed after diwali but this year  the crackers which were bursted were very less compared less to the previous. This year for many it is a Diwali without crackers.

Are Night Shifts safe?

Working woman are increasing day by day, they suffice to the capacity of men, but when it comes to their safety it will be a question mark (?). In newspapers we often com across news such as killing of woman employee the most shocking is that it is happening in the capital city Delhi. The head of a company was responsible for the safety of its employees. In Chennai HCL BPO takes care of its employee safety by ensuring thorough check of cabs, proper identity cards of the drivers, appointing woman guard to accompany woman employee. If these measures are ensured then the woman employees can bravely step out of their house during late hours for work, it is their preface to work in night shifts.

Can we Sue the Builder for the Delay?

Bringing the builder to the court of law for the delay caused depends upon the agreement where the builder would have mentioned the date of delivery. If the builders delays to deliver on the date which has been mentioned in the agreement then the buyer of the property can bring this matter to the court of law. There are several reasons in which the builder is exempted from prosecution.

A)  If the factors go beyond the controllable limit of the builder

B)  Non availability of raw materials (Truck drivers strike etc)

So act in the right way.Consumerism is your right!
